The blog which you are visiting right now is dedicated to our son’s struggle with a dangerous disease called neuroblastoma.

On the day of Mike’s second birthday doctors diagnosed him with this severe disease and they classified him as the highest risk group patient. Since 25^th April 2014 The Department of Oncology and Haematology of The University Children’s Hospital of Cracow is our second home.

Now we are completing the first stage of treatment – chemotherapy, which is only the beginning of the fight for Mike’s life.

At present not all the possible methods of combating the disease are used in Poland.

In order to increase the chances of success a long, non-refundable by the Polish National Health Fund and extremely expensive treatment with GD2 antibodies in one of the foreign clinics is necessary. The cost of such treatment amounts to 150 thousand Euros which is 600 thousand Polish zlotys.

Therefore we appeal to all of you who are indifferent to the suffering of our son to help with raising this needed sum of money.

We ask you to send the address of this website to your friends and to contribute by paying in even a symbolic 1 Polish zloty into Mike’s charity account because only this way his treatment and recovery will be possible.
